Tutankhamun has arrived to Malmo. The exhibition is held at mässhallarna in Hyllie. It opened on 15th September and will continue until 17th February. The exhibit is replicas of the original objects in the grave. The original is in the museum in Cairo. The treasures are travelling all over Europe, where Malmo has been given this fantastic opportunity to host this exhibition as well.
Mässhallarnas building was only just finished this year and had its opening this Spring before the exhibition hall was down by the water at västra hamnen. Now it is placed by the new up and coming area in Hyllie. On 25thOctober there will also open the largest shopping center in Scandinavia, called Emporia. I look forward to the opening day. There will be many new shops located there such as Hamleys toyshop, Brothers, Willys. In total over 200 shops. So many things are happening in this area at the moment. I will keep you updated on the opening of Emporia on the 25th October.
